Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Inspector to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance standards across our Hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas meet our high-quality standards, promote a safe and hygienic environment, and support the overall guest or occupant experience. This role is vital in maintaining the reputation of our establishment through consistent inspection and quality control of housekeeping services.
Duties
- Need to assign rooms to all scheduled housekeeper.
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards.
- Identify areas requiring cleaning or maintenance and communicate deficiencies to housekeeping staff or management.
- Verify that all cleaning tasks, including floor care, dusting, sanitation, and waste removal, are completed effectively.
- Monitor the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to improve service quality.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards.
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff on inspection protocols and quality expectations.
A housekeeping inspector is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas in hotels. Key responsibilities include:

Experience

- Experience with floor care techniques and equipment usage is advantageous.
- Background in hotel management or housekeeper supervision is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or custodial management enhances effectiveness in this role.
