School Registered Nurses are needed to provide direct, supportive care to students in school-based settings near Minneapolis, MN. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms and throughout the school day
- Provide individualized 1:1 care and assistance, following teachers’ and staff direction
- Assist with daily routines, medical needs, mobility, and personal care tasks
- Supervise and ensure students’ safety during transitions and in varied learning settings
- Foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- TB testing in line with school policies
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Willingness to obtain or provide current clearances before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Skills in CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and strong teamwork skills
