Grounds Maintenance Crew Member

Cumbrian Lakes Resort Homeowners Association is seeking a reliable, hard-working Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to join our in-house grounds team.
This is a full-time, year-round W2 position working at a single HOA community near Poinciana Blvd in Kissimmee. No traveling between job sites during the workday.

Schedule
· Monday – Thursday: 6:45am – 3:45pm
· Friday: 6:45am – 12:45pm
· Full-time W2 employment
· This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Overtime is not anticipated.
Pay
· $19.00/hr for first 6 months
· $20.00/hr after 6 months
· $21.00/hr after 12 months
· Performance, reliability, attendance, attitude, and attention to detail are important in this role.
Required Qualifications
· Be legally authorized to work in the United States
· Have a valid driver license and be insurable under the HOA’s commercial vehicle insurance policy (applicants with DUI convictions or driving without insurance convictions may not qualify for coverage)
· Be able to communicate clearly in English
· Be physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in Florida heat and humidity
· Have experience operating zero-turn mowers, edgers, string trimmers/weed whackers, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers
· Be dependable and punctual
· Work well in a team environment
· Follow detailed instructions
· Have strong attention to detail
· Be proactive and able to identify/report issues without constant supervision
· Pass a pre-employment drug screening
· Live within reasonable commuting distance of the Kissimmee/Poinciana area
Typical Duties
· Lawn mowing and edging
· Hedge and shrub trimming
· Weed control and weed pulling
· Backpack blowing and site cleanup
· Tree and palm trimming
· Litter patrols throughout the community
· Sod repair and replacement
· Fountain cleaning and maintenance
· Lake bank maintenance
· Minor sidewalk and grounds repairs
· General upkeep of HOA common areas
· Safe operation and care of company equipment
· Employees should be prepared to work outdoors year-round in varying Florida weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
· Basic mechanical skills
· Mower belts, oil/filter changes, and basic equipment maintenance
· LLO Spray License
· Irrigation troubleshooting and repair experience
