The Church Street Brewing Company is looking for an efficient, detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our team. The Order Entry Clerk will be tasked with duties primarily revolving around receiving and processing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency during the order entry process, and managing customer-related data in our system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception of orders from customers via telephone, email, or other channels and ensuring they are accurately entered into our system
- Maintaining and managing accurate and up-to-date customer order data in our systems
- Liaising with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure all orders are processed and fulfilled on a timely basis
- Providing customers with information on product availability, order status, and delivery schedules
- Resolving order and inventory discrepancies in coordination with the Warehouse team
- Proactively communicate with customers to confirm order details, deal with cancellations or modifications, and provide updates as necessary
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, pricing, and promotions
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field will be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the brewing/distillery industry will be highly advantageous
- Competence in using standard office software, including spreadsheets and databases. Experience with inventory or order entry software will be a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, and good customer service skills
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Able to cope in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
