Job Summary
Chimneyz LLC, a licensed Washington building-envelope contractor (License #CHIMNL*761OD), is hiring an experienced Mason for brick, block, and stone work across the greater Seattle area. Full-time, year-round, W-2.
You'll work on a wide range of masonry: retaining walls, structural and load-bearing walls, veneer and garden walls, chimneys, fireplaces, stone and paver installation, facades, and restoration of existing structures.
Responsibilities
- Build and repair structures using brick, block, stone, and concrete masonry units
- Retaining walls, load-bearing and structural walls, facades, and hardscape
- Chimneys, fireplaces, fireboxes, and crowns
- Tuckpointing, repointing, patching, and restoration on existing structures
- Mortar mixing, footings, flashing, and waterproofing to industry standard
- Read job scopes and meet quality, code, and safety requirements
- Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection
Requirements
- 2+ years of general masonry experience (brick / block / stone)
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to commute to our Tukwila office daily to pick up and return the company vehicle
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Experience across multiple masonry types (walls, chimneys, hardscape)
- OSHA 10
- Own basic hand tools
