Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff at the establishment
- Monitor and control access to the premises
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse entry to individuals who are underage or intoxicated
- Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential disturbances or illegal activities
- Handle difficult situations or conflicts in a calm and professional manner
- Escort unruly individuals off the premises if necessary
- Collaborate with other security personnel and staff to maintain a safe environment
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle potentially confrontational situations
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures
Please note that previous experience in loss prevention or familiarity with CCTV systems is preferred but not required.
