We are seeking a full time Front Desk Associate to join our growing family at United Spine & Pain. We are a physician-owned practice that aims to provide exceptional care to our patients. We seek a friendly, organized, and motivated team member.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting, and takes pride in creating a positive patient experience throughout a patient’s plan of care..
Schedule
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and concerns
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect required documentation
- Check patients in & out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Collect copayments and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and medical records requests as needed
- Support daily office operations and administrative functions
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Promote and uphold USP's family-centered approach to patient care
- Work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
Qualifications
- Previous medical office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Experience with insurance verification and scheduling is a plus
