Candela's Plumbing & HVAC is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving Orange County, Ulster County, and Sullivan County areas since 2018. We provide comprehensive plumbing and HVAC services, including general maintenance, repairs and new construction installations.
Experienced Plumber and/or HVAC Service Technician - 2 years minimum experience.
Responsibilities:
- Able to inspect, repair, install and/or modify HVAC equipment, from residential ac and heating systems to light commercial HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency in identifying and repairing/replacing defective parts in HVAC/plumbing systems.
- Will need to conduct preventative maintenance inspections of air conditioning systems, heating and ventilation systems, including gas and oil boilers.
- Will need to install, repair, and / or maintain piping systems, including valves, fittings, and fixtures - residential to commercial.
- Will need to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools on a regular basis.
- Will be responsible for keeping daily accurate logs of time spent working, time spent at each location, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Must be punctual, willing to work as a team, and be courteous to coworkers and customers.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to guide/give instruction to appointed plumbing & HVAC apprentice
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various conditions (ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift at least 50 pounds)
- Reliable transportation to and from work

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
