We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can lead our field and office operations, improve efficiency, develop our team, and help take our company to the next level.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the company, including technicians, dispatch, scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, and team performance. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, coaching people, and driving results.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations and technician schedules.
- Supervise technicians, dispatchers, and office staff.
- Conduct morning meetings and weekly team performance reviews.
- Monitor KPIs including:
- Revenue per technician
- Jobs completed
- Average ticket value
- Google reviews
- Callback percentage
- Customer satisfaction
- On-time arrival
- Perform quality control through ride-alongs, inspections, and customer follow-ups.
- Improve technician productivity, efficiency, and customer service.
- Develop training programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to support company growth.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze reports and recommend improvements to increase profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operations management experience (home services, HVAC, restoration, plumbing, or similar industries preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing field technicians and service operations.
- Ability to analyze KPIs and improve operational performance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM or scheduling software.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in air duct cleaning, HVAC, dryer vent cleaning, restoration, or home services.
- Experience implementing SOPs and process improvements.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
