We are actively seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join a small team that has a large Fleet of Trucks and Equipment in Custer County NE. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting inspections, PM services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Equipment and Trucks. Technicians will benefit from a strong company culture, professional work environment, and a great atmosphere.
The Preferred candidate has a great attitude, willingness to work on a variety of trucks and equipment, and has the ability to think in first principles.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience with hands-on Heavy-Duty Truck diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
- Preference will be given to those with 5+ years experience.
- Valid Driver’s license & a good driving record (CDL will be given preference).
- Experience in truck repairs and Paccar Engines is preferred.
- Knowledge of Civil Construction Equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools and devices.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read/understand manuals, catalogs, and diagrams.
- Strong commitment to customer service and communication, both internal and external.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Pride in workmanship, reliability, honesty, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude.
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $50.00/hour, dependent on previous experience.
