We're looking for a dependable Body Technician to help keep MPW's trucks, trailers, and equipment operating safely and looking their best. In this hands-on role, you'll perform body repairs, painting, and maintenance while supporting the reliability and appearance of our fleet through quality workmanship and teamwork. Based on the source job description, the role reports to the Paint & Body Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining and repairing company equipment.

What You'll Do
- Perform body repairs on trucks, trailers, and other company equipment.
- Complete paint preparation, refinishing, and touch-up work on fleet equipment.
- Repair damaged metal and fiberglass components using appropriate techniques.
- Perform mechanical maintenance as needed to support equipment reliability.
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities in a timely manner.
- Inspect equipment to identify repair needs and maintain quality workmanship.
- Use hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate repair progress and equipment needs with the Paint & Body Supervisor.
- Support fleet readiness by helping minimize equipment downtime.
- Work cooperatively with maintenance team members to meet operational priorities.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma with coursework or specialization in industrial or vocational trades.
- Two to three years of technical school or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred.
- Five to seven years of paint and body repair experience preferred.
- Experience repairing and refinishing both metal and fiberglass components.
- Ability to provide and maintain personal hand tools required for the position.
