As an Assistant Manager at our nail salon, you will have a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering excellent customer service. You will assist in managing the salon and oversee various tasks to maintain a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, managing the salon's booking system
- Collect payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain the salon's inventory of nail polish and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the salon, including workstations and common areas
- Assist in training and supervising salon staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and maintain accurate records
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the Salon Manager to implement and enforce salon policies and procedures
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and salon staff
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work well in a team environment
