Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urology Medical Assistant or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and managerial support within our urology practice. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, patient care and good time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and vital signs
- Placing catheters is a MUST
- Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and assist with treatment plans as directed by the physician
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all patients
- Support the medical team with ICD coding and documentation for billing purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
- Educate patients on urological health, treatment options, and post-procedure care
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to urology
- Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient documentation
- Previous exposure to other healthcare environments
- Experience in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, intake processes, and patient service is essential

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
