Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a keen interest in the hospitality industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while offering recommendations and upselling menu items.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments in accordance with restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of our patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
