Compensation: $32–$35/hr (based on experience) + Overtime Opportunities

What This Job Is All About
As a Metro Star Carpenter, you’ll be working on high-end finishes, architectural details, and the kind of craftsmanship you actually want to point out to your friends and say, “I built that.”
You’ll be:
- Performing rough and finish carpentry for upscale residential and mixed-use buildings
- Installing cabinetry, appliances, doors, millwork, and custom trim that define the Metro Star look
- Working side-by-side with talented project managers and a supportive construction team
- Helping shape vibrant, walkable communities across Milford, New Haven, Branford, and beyond
- Contributing to a company that values artistry, precision, and pride in every detail

What You’ll Do (and Love Doing)
- Masterful rough + finish carpentry
- Install cabinetry, appliances, trim, doors, hardware, and specialty finishes
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow carpenters to complete stunning spaces
- Maintain tools, materials, and job sites with professionalism and care
- Work safely and follow company + OSHA standards
- Jump in with the team to support other trades when needed
- Represent Metro Star with pride, integrity, and craftsmanship
What You Bring
- 5+ years of carpentry experience (residential or commercial)
- Strong skillset in framing, finishing, cabinetry, and trim installation
- A passion for building things right
- Ability to read plans and execute independently
- Clean, safe work habits
- Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work across varied site conditions
Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$34/hour (based on experience)
