Position Summary:
The Order Entry Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of our internal systems, efficient order fulfillment, and effective communication to help drive an exceptional customer experience. This role works closely with the sales coordinator, outside vendors, and other internal departments.
The role of Order Entry Specialist is a member of the TRELLIS Customer Care team, reporting to the Customer Care Director. This is a full-time salaried position. The role includes but is not limited to the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchase orders and place orders with vendors
- Work with vendors and internal team to troubleshoot issues that may arise at order entry
- Attend Sponsor Meetings with the rest of project team
- Process vendor acknowledgements & generate customer acknowledgments
- Generate work orders
- Effectively communicate with both customers and internal team throughout the order process
- Initiate invoicing of orders
Requirements:
- Organized & Detail-Oriented – Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize as needed, and pay attention to details.
- Technologically Proficient – You are comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems. Experience with order management/CRM platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – Effective engagement with internal team and external customers both over the phone and written communication.
- Adaptable – You show an openness to learn new things and are always willing to jump in and problem solve to provide the best possible customer experience.
Compensation:
- Annual Salary - Annual salary of $50,000-$54,000
- Performance Bonus – The opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus of $2,000 per year ($500 per quarter)
