Position Summary
OrchidMan Landscape is seeking a motivated, professional, and relationship-driven Field Sales Representative to grow our commercial and residential landscaping maintenance portfolio. This position is responsible for generating new business, meeting with prospective clients, preparing proposals, conducting property walkthroughs, and building long-term relationships that lead to recurring maintenance contracts.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, enjoys meeting people, and has experience in outside sales, property management, landscaping, or construction services.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial and residential maintenance accounts.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and in-person visits.
- Schedule and conduct property walkthroughs with potential clients.
- Identify client needs and recommend customized landscape maintenance solutions.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and service agreements.
- Follow up consistently on estimates and open opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, business owners, general contractors, and homeowners.
- Attend networking events and represent OrchidMan professionally within the community.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and sales activity in the company CRM.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Stay informed on local market trends and competitors.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales experience (landscaping, construction, property management, or related industries preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Professional appearance and customer service mindset.
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Experience reading property plans or understanding landscape maintenance is a plus.
