HOST / HOSTESS
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere and help ensure a smooth and memorable dining experience.
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival
Manage reservations, phone calls, and guest inquiries
Organize seating arrangements and maintain an efficient flow of service
Coordinate closely with servers, management, and the kitchen team
Accommodate special requests and communicate guest information accurately
Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming entrance area
Thank guests and assist them as they leave the restaurant
Qualifications:
Previous hosting or front-of-house restaurant experience is preferred
Fine-dining or upscale Japanese restaurant experience is a plus
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Warm, attentive, and calm under pressure
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience with reservation or POS systems is a plus
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
