Assistant Manager

Urban Air Adventure Park is seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in one of the country's premier family entertainment destinations. This leadership position is ideal for experienced supervisors or managers from the restaurant, hospitality, retail, hotel, entertainment, or family entertainment industries who enjoy leading teams in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
As an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to oversee park operations, develop team members, ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain safety standards, and drive operational excellence across attractions, food & beverage, birthday parties, and special events.
What You'll Do
- Support the daily operation of the entire park, including attractions, café, parties, and guest services
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Create a positive, energetic, and accountable workplace culture
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee development
- Prepare weekly schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
- Monitor labor, productivity, inventory, and operating expenses
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding customer service
- Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility
- Conduct daily facility inspections and ensure attractions operate safely
- Support employee recognition and performance management programs
- Enforce company policies, operational standards, and safety procedures
- Help achieve operational, financial, and guest satisfaction goals
- Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, hotels, family entertainment centers, amusement parks, retail, or customer-focused operations
- ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and leadership mindset
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule
This is a full-time management position.
Availability must include:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Peak business periods
