This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including but not limited to split systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and replacing filters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Conduct repairs and component replacements based on diagnostics performed.
- Document all service and repair work accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of work performed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills.
- Participate in On-call rotation or emergency service.
Job Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational HVAC program or apprenticeship is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and principles.
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in HVAC work.
- Ability to read and interpret basic schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC industry.
