Position: Line Cook
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a designated station, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring stations are properly stocked and organized. This position plays a vital role in delivering a consistent and high-quality dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards and guest orders.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure all food is stored and handled properly according to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest level of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Completion of a vocational culinary program or an associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
- Minimum of one year of relevant cooking experience.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
