Position: Gift & Home Décor Sales Associate
Location: Parker, Colorado
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 8–20 hours per week
Availability: Weekend availability required, including approximately 3–4 weekend shifts per month
At 39 North Home & Gift, we help customers find meaningful gifts, beautiful home décor, seasonal favorites, and unexpected treasures—and we make shopping feel personal and fun.
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable sales associate who enjoys connecting with people, takes initiative, and knows how to stay productive in a fast-paced retail environment. This is an active sales and customer-service position, not just a cashier role.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome every customer and make them feel genuinely valued
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand what customers are looking for
- Recommend products and help customers discover additional items they’ll love
- Work toward individual and store sales goals
- Operate the register accurately and confidently
- Restock, straighten, clean, and maintain inviting displays
- Help receive, price, and organize merchandise
- Assist with seasonal transitions, promotions, events, and open houses
- Notice what needs to be done and take action without waiting to be asked
- Support teammates and pitch in wherever the store needs you
What We’re Looking For
- At least one year of retail or customer-service experience preferred
- A warm, confident personality and genuine enjoyment of helping people
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong communication skills
- An eye for color, décor, merchandising, or design
- Comfort learning technology and using a point-of-sale system
- The ability to balance customer service with daily store tasks
- A positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to receive coaching and work toward clear expectations
- Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift and safely lift and move merchandise

Pay and Hours
Pay: $16–$21 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications
Hours: Approximately 8–25 hours per week
Weekly hours may vary based on store traffic, seasonal needs, employee availability, performance, and business needs. Sunday and weekend availability is an essential part of this position.
