American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Overland Park, KS, requiring at least one year of travel nursing experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Hospital Med/Surg unit setting

Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
-
36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
-
13-week contract
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating to other units required as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum of one year of RN experience required

Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience required

NIHSS certification recommended but not required
-
All RNs are required to wear Navy Blue scrubs

Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or an approved declination are required
-
Local candidates are accepted

Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
