Summary:
The Customer Care Representative interacts with homeowners post-construction and helps with move-in to their new home. This person represents the Cullum Homes brand and must be responsible for long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience in or willingness to learn customer service and warranty processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize tasks and communicate both overall and day-to-day goals.
- Ability and willingness to manage construction-related failures, including self-performing certain tasks when needed.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
- Experience with or willingness to learn CoConstruct and Ressio.
- Creative, solution-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee large and small warranty-related construction projects.
- Request job walks, obtain quotes in collaboration with the Warranty Manager, Cullum Care Representative, and office support.
- Track and organize invoicing for each job (blue folders completed during Tuesday morning team time).
- Self-perform as many warranty tasks as feasible based on schedule.
- Oversee work performed in homes and communicate regularly with the Warranty Manager and Cullum Care Representative to ensure satisfaction and uphold Cullum Homes standards.
- Schedule trade partners and coordinate necessary repairs with the Cullum Care Representative.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the Cullum Homes brand (Cullum Homes polo with presentable shorts, jeans, or slacks).
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Update CoConstruct or Ressio daily, including maintaining accurate time logs.
- Remain available for emergency on-call needs (HVAC, flooding, electrical outages, etc.), following established emergency protocols.
- Respond to emails and communication promptly.
- Coordinate and communicate scheduling details with Cullum Care Rep.
- Collaborate closely with the new construction team to learn from current builds and help prevent recurring issues in future projects.
