Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Laborer/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction and installation tasks on-site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on skills and ability to interpret technical drawings will be vital in delivering quality craftsmanship across a range of building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your construction expertise while contributing to impactful projects that transform spaces. Oportunities avalible for welding training, and electrician apprenticeship avalible. Some overnight out of town work required with per diem, room and 1 meal/day paid by company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of building materials, fixtures, doors, components according to project specifications and blueprints
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as sign instalation and fabrication, fixture instalation, painting, and decaling
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and interpret technical drawings or construction plans to ensure precise installation
- Learn to oporate heavy equipment such as forklift, crane, digger ETC...
- Support construction management by following blueprint specifications and adhering to safety protocols on-site
- Perform general site cleanup, material handling, and setup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct inspections of work areas for quality control and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Skills
- Clean driving record - no DWI's
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and measuring devices such as tape measures
- Experience with construction site activities including framing, steel work, fabrication, or concrete a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Familiarity with, electrical systems, caulking techniques, fixture installation, is desirable
- Experience in remodeling projects or building material installation enhances your suitability for this role
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and providing exceptional customer service when needed
- Commitment to safety practices including ladder use and proper handling of tools at all times

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
