We specialize in residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and interior upgrades. We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Sales Representative to help generate and close remodeling projects from customers visiting our Floor & Decor partner location.
Position Summary
The Sales Representative will work inside a Floor & Decor retail location, engaging with customers who are planning home improvement projects and connecting them with Solid Oak Construction’s remodeling services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, building relationships, and helping homeowners turn their remodeling ideas into reality.
The right candidate is confident, energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable starting conversations with customers throughout the day. This position requires working Friday and Saturday, the ideal candidate is willing and able to work most weekends.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers inside a Floor & Decor retail store and introduce Solid Oak Construction remodeling services
- Build relationships with homeowners planning remodeling or renovation projects
- Identify customer needs, i.e. flooring, kitchen, bathroom, remodels
- Offer and schedule free in-home consultations and estimate appointments
- Collect customers contact information and project details
- Maintain communication with the project and sales management team
- Track customer interactions and sales activity
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation goals
- Always represent the company in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Experience in remodeling, construction, flooring, or home improvement is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Outgoing personality with the ability to start conversations naturally
- Self-driven and goal-oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable working in a retail environment
- Ability to work weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
