What You'll Do
- Create a nurturing, loving classroom environment
- Build trusting relationships with infants and their families
- Follow age-appropriate lesson plans and daily routines
- Support each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Complete daily communication with parents through our childcare app
- Work closely with fellow teachers and school leadership
- Follow all Tennessee childcare licensing regulations and Building Kidz policies
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
No evenings. No weekends.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
- Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related experience (preferred)
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Ability to pass required background checks
