**AMVT LLC Overview**
AMVT LLC, located in Katy, Texas, specializes in the sales, marketing, and customer support of advanced optical sorting and food inspection equipment. Our machines are widely utilized in the processing of rice, grains, beans, nuts, coffee, seeds, fruits, and vegetables, as well as in packaging applications. Our product lineup includes full-color RGB sorters, infrared (IR) sorters, belt sorters, x-ray sorters, metal detectors, x-ray inspection systems, checkweighers, and packaging machines.
**Position Available**
We are currently looking for a Regional Sales and Service Representative to support our fruit and vegetable sorting machines and food inspection equipment in Fargo, ND, within the U.S. market.
**Position Summary**
This dual-role position combines both sales and service responsibilities. You will be responsible for generating new business, supporting existing customers, and providing hands-on technical service, which includes installation, training, and troubleshooting. Frequent travel is required for customer visits, product demonstrations, and on-site support.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate new sales leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Perform on-site installation, training, and maintenance of color sorters and food inspection machines.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support, including troubleshooting and service.
- Coordinate customer sample testing and provide clear evaluations and summaries.
- Prepare materials for and attend trade shows to represent the company.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, installations, and service interactions.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong self-motivation with a proven sales track record.
- Experience in fresh, dried, or frozen fruit and vegetable processing is highly preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience with industrial machinery installation and service is preferred.
- A degree or certification from a vocational or technical school in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer visits and service calls.
