**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients, promoting DEEP TISSUE, relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Someone who is self motivating, punctual, and doesn’t need to be micromanaged. We are a very small business and would like to find a 3rd therapist who fits like family (comfortable yet professional) and wants to be here long term. The schedule available is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am-2:30pm and every other Saturday 9:30am-2:30pm.
**Duties:**
- Perform patient assessments to determine the most suitable massage techniques
- Administer 10-12 deep tissue or other therapeutic massages per week, based on client needs
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure client comfort and satisfaction
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance massage treatments
- Incorporate pain management strategies into massage sessions
-Responsible for checking out and rescheduling future appointments for clients
-Keep self and environment clean and organized
-Laundry
**Qualifications:**
-Ability to perform 10-12 DEEP TISSUE massages per week
-Michigan massage license
-Carry personal massage insurance
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform physical examinations to assess patient needs
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
