The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role performs routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and complex mechanical repairs while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Perform vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.

Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements.

Repair and replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspension systems, and electrical systems.

Utilize diagnostic equipment and computerized testing tools to identify vehicle concerns.

Interpret repair orders and communicate findings to service advisors and management.

Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.

Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation.

Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition.

Follow all OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies and procedures.

Stay current on emerging automotive technologies, repair methods, and manufacturer updates.

Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned.
