Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A) Company Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and embark on an exciting journey across the country delivering freight safely and efficiently. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers equipped with manual transmissions, hauling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across long-distance routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Manage various types of freight, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and hazardous materials, following all hazardous materials regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when necessary, ensuring proper securing of freight such as dangerous goods or roll-off containers.
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to route changes for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Prior experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazardous materials is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for long-haul logistics cargo handling.
- Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations required for safe trucking operations.
- Experience in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual handling techniques for freight such as freight containers or roll-off trucks.
- Delivery driver experience with a focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent customer interactions is preferred.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $3,500.00 per week
