We are a faith based center offering child care for children 6 weeks old to age 12. If you love Jesus are energetic, enjoy spending time outside and love working with toddlers, we have the job for you.
We are hiring a full time toddler room co-teacher, hours being 8:30 to 5:15 (hours may vary based on need). Experience in a child care center is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who enjoys working with babies with alternate experience in child care. Please indicate your other types of experience on your resume if you want to be considered (volunteering, church nursery, babysitting).
This is a perfect job for mothers re-entering the workforce, mothers with school age children, as well as mature adults. Consistency is very important for this age, so please do not apply if you are not willing to make the daily commitment. Please do not apply if you do not have reliable transportation, if you have children and do not have care for them when they are sick or out of school, or do not want to work the hours stated.
Must be able to meet VA Child Day Care Licensing requirements (including background checks, high school diploma, or equivalent.) Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Must be able to spend time outside.
