We are looking for an experienced electrician to join our company. You’ll be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems. These systems can be located in commercial or residential buildings. Our electrician may work inside or outside to properly wire lights, commercial equipment, and nearly anything requiring electricity to run correctly. Service call and interaction with customers.
Electrician Job Duties and Responsibilities
Include:
· Dealing with the wiring of buildings
· Working in a range of newly built homes and commercial buildings
· Replacing older systems and troubleshooting
· Climbing or using ladders or lift buckets to repair power outages for homes, businesses, and other structures
· Installation of electrical services for construction projects such as: residential, commercial buildings and parking lots lighting installations
· Oversee maintenance repair and troubleshooting for electrical systems and apparatus under supervision
· Develop and oversee repairs on indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
Electrician Requirements and Qualifications
· Completed 2 to 4 year apprenticeship
· Ability to use and work with various testing equipment and tools, such as need-nose and diagonal pliers, and insulation resistance testers and multimeters
