Typical Work Schedule
Our standard schedule is:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Enjoy a four-day workweek with a three-day weekend most weeks.
Overtime opportunities are available during customer outages, plant turnarounds (TAs), emergency service calls, and other project demands.
Our work is primarily located throughout East Texas, generally within a 1.5-hour radius of Longview, Texas, allowing our employees to return home each day on most projects.
What You'll Do
As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll perform a variety of industrial and commercial electrical work, including:
- Industrial electrical construction and maintenance
- Commercial electrical installations
- Instrumentation installation and troubleshooting
- Install EMT, IMC, RMC (Rigid), PVC, and cable tray systems
- Install conduit supports, junction boxes, panels, disconnects, transformers, MCCs, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
- Pull, terminate, and test power, control, and instrumentation wiring
- Install and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, motor controls, and associated equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and specifications
- Test electrical systems using voltmeters, meggers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical failures and determine safe, effective repairs
- Document testing, repairs, and completed work accurately
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Participate in emergency service work when required
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience
- Industrial electrical experience preferred
- Instrumentation and controls experience is a plus
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience installing conduit, cable tray, and industrial electrical systems
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
