The Unit Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily clinical operations on the unit, supporting nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow for the assigned unit
Supervise and support nursing staff, CNAs, and clinical team members
Ensure quality resident care and compliance with care plans
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families
Complete assessments, documentation, and clinical charting accurately and timely
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
Assist with admissions, discharges, and overall resident care coordination
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Support infection control, quality measures, and survey preparedness initiatives
Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered North Carolina LPN or RN license
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
