Marvelous Lights is hiring motivated Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to help homeowners transform their homes with permanent architectural lighting.
This is not a traditional door-knocking job where you simply set appointments for someone else.
You own the entire sales process.
You will prospect neighborhoods, knock doors, create your own opportunities, meet directly with homeowners, demonstrate our permanent lighting system, provide estimates, and close your own deals.
If you are competitive, self-motivated, comfortable talking to people, and willing to knock doors consistently, this position offers serious income potential.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect residential neighborhoods through door-to-door sales
- Generate your own leads and appointments
- Meet with homeowners for in-home consultations
- Demonstrate our permanent outdoor lighting system
- Identify customer needs and recommend lighting solutions
- Build estimates and present pricing
- Follow up with interested homeowners
- Close your own sales
- Maintain accurate customer information in our CRM
- Represent Marvelous Lights professionally in the field
What We Sell
Marvelous Lights installs permanent architectural lighting systems for homes and businesses.
Our lighting systems provide homeowners with customizable exterior lighting for:
- Everyday architectural lighting
- Holidays
- Game days
- Birthdays and celebrations
- Security and visibility
- Accent lighting
- HOA and community events
Unlike traditional seasonal Christmas lights, the system stays permanently installed and can be controlled directly from the homeowner’s phone.
Why This Is Different From Most Door-to-Door Sales
You’re not selling solar, roofing, pest control, alarms, or another overcrowded door-to-door product.
Permanent lighting is still a relatively new product category with strong homeowner interest and significantly less competition.
The product is highly visual, easy for homeowners to understand, and creates an opportunity for a much more enjoyable sales conversation than many traditional door-to-door industries.

Previous sales or door-to-door experience is helpful, but not required.

This position is for someone who wants to create their own income.
Door knocking is a core responsibility of this role.
We are looking for representatives who are willing to get into neighborhoods, talk to homeowners, generate opportunities, and build their own pipeline rather than waiting for leads to be handed to them.

Schedule
Flexible schedule with the freedom to manage your own prospecting activity and appointments.
However, flexibility does not mean inactivity. Successful representatives should expect to spend significant time in the field prospecting and knocking doors.
