A West Chester family is seeking a warm, experienced, and professional full-time nanny to provide in-home care for their 2.5-year-old daughter through the summer season. (ASAP through September 18th)
Both parents work from home and are deeply invested in their daughter's development. They are looking for a long-term professional relationship and hope to continue working with the right candidate in future seasons.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one-hour break included)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, in-home care for an active and communicative toddler
- Engage in educational enrichment: reading aloud, lesson books, interactive play
- Outdoor activities including neighborhood walks and bike rides
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks; light child-related tidying and laundry
- Grocery runs and occasional errands as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience (nanny, preschool, or elementary background welcomed)
- Experience with toddlers in the 2 to 3 year age range
- Even-tempered and patient; the child is bright, expressive, and full of personality
- Non-smoker; does not live with a smoker
- Childhood vaccinations current and up to date
- Reliable transportation; must be located within approximately 30 minutes of West Chester
- Valid driver's license required
Important Notes
- Cell phone use is not permitted during active caregiving hours
- The child has environmental allergies; candidates with pets must change clothing completely before each shift
- All federal holidays are paid days off
- W2 paid position
This position is placed through Everly Nannies, LLC. Candidates will be vetted and interviewed by the agency prior to introduction to the family.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
