Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical systems.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure, following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks, installations, and repairs efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, and commercial electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety procedures related to electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure seamless integration of electrical components within the project scope.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and parts used for future reference and compliance audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial electrician experience and commercial electrician experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards along with a thorough understanding of local electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints reading.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Ability to perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment while following strict safety protocols.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects is preferred; handyman experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring techniques, blueprint reading skills, and knowledge of NEC standards for safe installation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by state law; ongoing training or certifications related to NFPA 70 or NEC are advantageous.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
