Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products across designated routes
- Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders against delivery manifests and obtaining customer signatures
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools to meet delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, heavy lifting, and moving stock as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to load, unload, and move heavy items safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with route driving, navigation tools, and safety protocols on the road
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment use
