Competitive pay: $15-$27/hour. Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule and job duties
Responsibilities-
Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims

Resolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
-
File appeals and process refunds when appropriate
-
Assist patients with billing and insurance questions

Maintain knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures

Work claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issues
-
Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
-
Support team workflow and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications-
Medical billing certification or Minimum 1 year healthcare experience

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
-
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
-
Knowledge of eCW EMR a plus, but willing to train
