Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to assist in food preparation.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation protocols, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
