Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including box trucks, to deliver equipment on scheduled routes or as needed.
- Load and unload equipment such as supplies or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving supplies or equipment within the facility, and supporting team members as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, vehicle handling, and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience preferred.
- Proven experience operating various commercial vehicles such as box trucks, flatbeds.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to ensure safe communication, documentation, and coordination.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
