We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. The role calls for a decisive professional who is able to facilitate change and growth in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, performance management and 401K management, then this is the perfect job for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce.
3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
5. Nurture a positive working environment and maintain the aspects of employee relations.
6. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
7. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
8. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
9. Manage and oversee the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
10. Oversee and administer the 401K plan and other benefits programs.
Qualifications:
1. Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for a minimum of 5 years.
2. People-oriented and results-driven.
3. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
4. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
5. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
6. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
7. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
8. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
9. Degree in Human Resources or related field.
10. Experience in the construction industry would be a plus.
