High school diploma or GED. Three years of maintenance experience in heavy rail transit systems is required. The DTPW classification of Transit Instructor performs safety-sensitive functions and is subject to the provisions of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol Regulations. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.
