Growth & Community Manager
Own the growth engine behind the creators, public figures, and brands we work with.
EmpireX works with creators and public figures to turn attention into audiences, and audiences into revenue. We're hiring someone to own that machine end to end: email, Meta Ads, and community, across a roster of clients with sizable reach.
This isn't a "schedule the newsletter, boost the post" role. You'll be the person who looks at a creator's business and sees the whole funnel, from a follower who barely knows their name to a paying subscriber who shows up every week. If you've ever wanted to run growth for people with actual audiences instead of a hypothetical B2B SaaS persona, this is that job.
You'll work directly with creators and our internal team, with a lot of ownership. No committee, no ten rounds of approval. If a launch sequence, an ad set, or a community push isn't working, you fix it.
What you'll actually be doing
You'll own execution across email marketing, Meta Ads, and community building, taking direction from us and creators, then running with it. That means newsletters and lifecycle campaigns, paid social from prospecting to retargeting, and building out communities on platforms like Skool, Whop, or Substack Notes. You'll also think past any single campaign and map the full funnel: content to attention to subscriber to community to revenue, with strategy and reporting that ties it together.
Take this seriously
There's genuine responsibility that comes with this role, and we want someone who wants that. We're looking for someone who enjoys this work. If what you're after is cranking things out quickly with AI and calling it a day, this isn't for you. We want someone who's passionate about what they do, and it shows, in how they talk about the work, not just what's on their resume.
Who we're looking for
You're sharp, technical, and can talk to a client without sounding like you're reading from a deck. You've run Meta Ads with meaningful budgets, you understand lifecycle email beyond "send a blast," and you know how to build community that doesn't feel like a ghost town. You're proactive: you see a problem and fix it, you don't wait to be told.
Bonus points if you've worked with creators, influencers, or personal brands, grown a paid newsletter, or have copywriting chops that let a creator's voice come through in every email you write.
One more thing
We're not going to pretend AI isn't changing this job. A lot of the execution work, drafting emails, building ad variations, pulling reports, can be automated or sped up with the right tools, and we expect you to use them. What AI can't do is sit with a client, understand what they need, and make sure delivery never slips. That's the part we care about most: client communication and management is the actual job, not a side effect of it.
Why this role
This is the first hire in a growth department we're actively building out. That means significant room to shape how this works across every client we bring on, and to build a team under you as it scales. If you're someone who wants ownership and a track record with creator businesses more than a big title at a company where you're one of fifty marketers, this is built for you.
How to apply
Send us a video, screen recording works fine, to [email protected]. Keep it casual, we're not looking for a polished pitch here. Just pull up some of the email, ads, or community work you've done, show us the actual platforms you used (Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, whatever it is), and walk us through what you did and why.
If you've got experience across email, ads, and community, even better, we'll set up time to chat more.
We just need a video to be able to review your application, so make sure to include one.
