Job Summary
Chicago College of Oriental Medicine (CCOM) is seeking a motivated and personable Admissions Representative to assist prospective students throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
The Admissions Representative will respond to inquiries, communicate with prospective students, provide information about CCOM's graduate programs, conduct follow-ups, guide applicants through the application process, and support student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Respond to prospective student inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with leads and prospective students in a timely and professional manner.
- Explain CCOM's programs, admissions requirements, application process, and student resources.
- Guide applicants from initial inquiry through application and enrollment.
- Conduct prospective student interviews and information sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective students and admissions activities.
- Follow up on incomplete applications and required documentation.
- Participate in recruitment, outreach, open houses, and other enrollment activities.
- Work collaboratively with academic and administrative staff.
- Support established admissions and enrollment goals while maintaining professional and ethical recruitment practices.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in higher education admissions, student recruitment, customer service, sales, or a related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple prospective students and applications simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM or student information systems is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with acupuncture, Chinese medicine, integrative health, healthcare, or wellness is preferred.
- Knowledge of or interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and holistic healthcare is a plus.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
