Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician & General Building Grounds & Handyman to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and upkeep of our facilities, grounds and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the boiler system, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing and building systems.
- Check appliance issues and other service tasks efficiently to minimize down.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility improvements or equipment upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Lead or support team members during complex repairs or installations to promote safety and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician/handyman with a strong background in building and grounds work. Appliance, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration knowledge is helpful, but not necessary.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and construction projects.
- Strong understanding of general electrical and plumbing is preferred.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work well with others and guide or collaborate with team members effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and building challenges.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
