This position is for 2nd shift- there is a 5% shift differential!!!
JOB SUMMARY:
Operation of a forklift to move materials, finished goods, and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand written/oral instructions
Follow work instruction and procedures
Understand safe handling of heavy materials
Be able to drive a forklift and other lift trucks
Record appropriate production records, weigh up and scan material in the computer
Comply with Portland Forge’s ethics and compliance policies
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to plan and organize. Must have coordination and physical ability to perform job. Must have capability to perform other jobs related to moving material; be able to drive or work in all kinds of weather. Must be able to change equipment with employees close by and be able to load or unload steel trucks or over-road trucks. Must be certified to drive a forklift.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.

Pay: $23.53 - $26.15 per hour
