Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oil Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, vehicle and maintenance and minor mechanical repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly while providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities
Typically, a Lincoln Priority Service Technician duties are the following:
- Perform oil and filter changes using the correct Motorcraft synthetic blend or full synthetic oil according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace oil filters and ensure proper fluid levels after service.
- Perform tire rotations following manufacturer-recommended patterns.
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper tread depth.
- Check and adjust tire pressures to the recommended specifications.
- Complete comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Inspect brake components for wear and recommend service when needed.
- Test battery condition using approved diagnostic equipment.
- Inspect engine air filters and cabin air filters for condition and replacement needs.
- Perform visual inspections of belts, hoses, and other under-hood components.
- Inspect and top off engine coolant, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, and other serviceable fluids as required.
- Identify maintenance concerns and communicate findings accurately to the service advisor.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection documentation.
- Follow all manufacturer procedures, dealership policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly operate shop equipment and tools.
- Assist other technicians as needed to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer and dealership training.
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle components, fluid systems, and basic repair procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Experience performing oil changes, tire services, alignments, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about vehicle needs and repairs.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
