We’re hiring experienced CDL‑A Team Drivers (OTR) for dedicated FedEx Ground Linehaul operations. This is a high‑mileage, stable position designed for drivers who want consistent freight, strong weekly earnings, and reliable home time.
All freight is 100% no‑touch drop & hook, with structured dispatch and steady routes.
Job Responsibilities – CDL‑A Team Driver (FedEx Ground Linehaul)
- Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor‑trailer in team driving configuration on long‑haul OTR routes.
- Haul dedicated FedEx Ground Linehaul freight with 100% no‑touch drop & hook operations.
- Maintain consistent weekly mileage of 4,000–5,000+ miles with structured dispatch schedules.
- Adhere to scheduled departures (Mon–Wed) and complete runs lasting 6–10 days on the road.
- Predictable, year‑round freight flow
- Report to the Inland Empire terminal weekly for dispatch and operational updates.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including physicals, drug screens, and background checks.
- Keep a clean driving record (MVR) and follow all safety protocols.
- Operate ELD systems accurately and maintain logs in compliance with federal requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with your driving partner to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Communicate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and smooth route execution.
- Protect company assets and freight by following all FedEx Ground operational standards.
- Represent the company professionally while on the road and at terminals.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full‑Time W2 Employment
- Miles: 4,000–5,000+ weekly (team)
- Pay: $0.37 – $0.45 per mile (up to $2,500 weekly)
- Bonus: $2,000 sign‑on bonus for active FedEx drivers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Minimum 2 years CDL‑A driving experience
- Doubles endorsement (required)
- Team driving experience
- Clean MVR
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- ELD proficient
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
